Widgets are the visual building blocks of a dashboard.  They are visual and interactive components that are used to visualize data, perform analysis, accept input from users and add business logic to your documents.  Such Widgets include pivot tables, charts, KPI indicators, date pickers, drop-down selection boxes, images, text boxes, etc.

Widgets can be drag-and-dropped onto anywhere on the sheet.  You have complete freedom to decide where you place them.
