What is Amadip-Esment?
Amadip-Esment is a nonprofit organization that helps people with intellectual disabilities enjoy a quality of life similar to other people. The organization offers a wide variety of services such as housing, residence, leisure, occupational workshops, day center, training and employment in both external companies and in various internal business units, such as printing, gardening, cleaning, restaurants and agriculture. Amadip-Esment has been operating in the island of Mallorca (Spain) since 1962 and has 470 employees.
What business needs was Amadip-Esment looking to solve when they came across Prism?
Our organization collects a large volume of information from different sources, including human resources, financial ERP, operational software at restaurants, printing operational data and specific software systems which contain data related to persons with disabilities. Our primary business need was to increase the efficiency of our management capabilities by deploying a platform for managerial reporting and data queries which linked all of our data in a single system.
How was Amadip-Esment trying to address these needs before implementing Prism?
Before we implemented SiSense Prism, we spent a tremendous amount of time and manual effort collecting data and arranging it in Excel pivot tables.
What other solutions did Amadip-Esment evaluate before selecting Prism?
MicroStrategy and Pentaho.
Why did Amadip-Esment select Prism?
We selected Prism due to three primary factors:
- Simplicity - it is very easy to set up, use and maintain
- Speed of implementation - nothing else came close
- It's powerful and flexible visualization features
How is Amadip-Esment using Prism to solve its business needs today?
We already have a set of management dashboards that allow many department and activity managers to have all the information they need, in the way they need it. What is great is how we are able to quickly and easily create more dashboards and reports for additional departments and managerial needs. It’s really all about creativity, since our managers now have the freedom to design exactly what data they want to see and how it should be presented. The power and flexibility of Prism provides enormous potential for our managers to dream up and quickly implement any data visualization perspectives they want.
What are the greatest business benefits that Amadip-Esment is enjoying with Prism?
Managerial efficiency and effectiveness has been improved – and continues to improve further – because of how easy it is now for our managers to analyze information from many different sources. The centralization of all data, dashboards and reports in one interface saves a tremendous amount of time and energy and puts real “business intelligence” into the hands of the people who need it most.
