Depending on who you choose to ask, we’ve either got a big questions about big data or even bigger plans. Questions about personal privacy, citizens’ rights, and technical limitations; plans for better memory, better applications, and more egalitarian solutions. Let’s split the difference and say that we have both questions and plans, and that wherever the future of big data might lead us, we’re building on a decades-long foundation of hard work and brilliance.
