Sisense Moonshot my career: I started in the Arizona office, but I dreamed of moving to New York City. After being with Sisense for just a quarter they fully supported my move.

Then, after 14 months, they gave me the opportunity to take on a leadership role. Sisense backs you if you have the enthusiasm and commitment to grow, irrespective of your length of tenure. I have access to so many resources across the organization to learn and be successful, and I have always felt empowered by Sisense to pursue what I was passionate about.
I chose Sisense because: It was clear Sisense was a rocket ship and I wanted to be on board. While interviewing, everyone I spoke to had so much passion for what they did and the company. I was inspired by the growth so many people had enjoyed at Sisense and knew I would be challenged working for a company that is always innovating and pushing the “status quo”
Favorite thing about Sisense: The people! I have made some of my greatest friends and I’m surrounded by some of the most brilliant people who are always challenging me to be even better.
Advice: Find a mentor, have a routine, and be passionate about what you do.

Sisense Moonshot my career: I became part of Sisense when the company merged with Periscope Data. I was able to move up in the sales engineer ranks because we were growing so fast, and because I found success, there I was able to take a shot at product management.

I chose Sisense because: It’s a fast-growing company whose values I identify with.
Favorite thing about Sisense: The culture and the people. There are challenges, but the people here are good humans 🙂
Advice: Be open to opportunity, and don’t straight-jacket your career by trying to adhere to a job description. Growth is messy. Embrace the uncertainty and be prepared to operate outside of the boundaries of your job-title from time to time. People will remember that they can count on you and will look in your direction when they need someone they can trust.

Sisense Moonshot my career: From day one. In my interview, I shared my desire to grow into a different role and my VP saw my potential.

Shortly into my tenure, I got the opportunity to work closely with a product marketing manager (PMM) on strategic projects. When a PMM position became open, my VP knew I was right for the role and advocated on my behalf. She ensured I was where I wanted to be in under a year.
I chose Sisense because: It has a significant market opportunity and a defensible product. Sisense is well-positioned within the BI and Data Analytics market and has a promising future. I also received an offer for a PMM position at another company. But the potential for unlimited growth, an exceptional team and culture, were more important than the job title.
Favorite thing about Sisense: The transparency, authenticity, and willingness to help I have encountered with every colleague. The BI and Data Analytics industry is complex, and I work with some of the best and brightest who have taken the time to help me learn and grow. I wouldn’t be where I am in my career without them.
Advice: Be transparent about your career goals. Build relationships with individuals across the organization and learn as much as you can! There’s a wealth of knowledge at Sisense. We’re helping companies disrupt their markets, and there is so much growth potential.

Sisense Moonshot my career: Sisense has given me the tools and guidance to develop my skills and learn more, every step of the way.

More so, the company has given me the platform to prove myself.
I chose Sisense because: I had been keeping an eye on the company for a while and had a few friends working there who gave me rave reviews about it.
Favorite thing about Sisense: I have two. Firstly, even after almost two years in the company I feel like I learn something new every single day! Secondly is the culture, it’s not just a buzzword, it’s an ingrained part of the company.
Advice: Keep an open mind and check your ego at the door.

Advice: 1) Create a network of mentors and others who will up-level you! 2) Big achievements generally come one step at a time, one day at a time
