Sisense Triples Revenue for Fourth Straight Year
Business Intelligence and Analytics startup continues upward trajectory with $30M Series C round, expansion to 50 countries and record number of new customers
New York – Sisense, a leader in big data analytics for business users, today announced that it has tripled subscription revenues for the fourth straight year as demand continues to accelerate globally for its full-stack business intelligence and analytics software. Bolstered by a $30 million Series C round, the company acquired a record number of new customers in a single quarter, tripled its North American headquarters on Wall Street and doubled the size of its R&D center in Tel Aviv, expanded to 50 countries, and fortified its executive staff with hires including a new vice president of sales, and its first channel chief.
“The business world is moving beyond ‘Excel 2.0’ data visualization products, as companies large and small realize they require a strong back-end to handle huge data sets coming from a multitude of sources,” says Sisense CEO Amit Bendov. “We saw incredible growth in 2014 with customers embracing our full-stack solution, which offers interactive dashboards paired with the power, speed and ease of use of our proprietary In-Chip technology, which far outruns traditional in-memory products.”
In 2014, Sisense also adopted a new look and signature. The rebranding included a website overhaul, new logo and graphic design, and a change in the company’s spelling from Sisense to Sisense. (Media kit with updated graphic images here)
