in Modern Applications
Sisense has taken an ‘API first’ product development strategy to ensure that customers can leverage functionality in other platforms and fit seamlessly into their technology stacks.
From the inception of Sisense, every new feature is developed with an API set first.
This allows customers the advantage of using Sisense components as building blocks for extending the user interface, embedding dashboards, widgets or functionality into other solutions. Sisense’s architecture and open API framework allow for a variety of ways with which to integrate with other applications. From a high level perspective, Sisense’s technology stack is split between the ElastiCube (data layer) and SisenseWeb (visualization layer).Start Free Trial
Embedding Analytics in Modern Applications
3rd party applications can communicate with the ElastiCube directly using our REST API, Pulse Webhooks, or ODBC driver. This opens up the possibility to integrate data from Sisense into your Insight consumption application of choice including your preferred visualization solution. Should you choose to only leverage the extremely powerful Sisense Backend but not its front end we opened up that capability to allow you with maximal flexibility. Essentially Sisense can be thought of as a single stack BI and Analytics platform or as your virtual modular business data fabric.
