Sisense Moonshot my career: I started my career at Sisense when there were a handful of people in our Kyiv office as a software engineer. The growing number of customers and their desire to customize Sisense for their needs led to the need of establishing a new team in Kyiv as part of the global Professional Services Engineering department where I started as an engineer and then promoted to a managerial position due to the team growing very fast.
I was able to gather and lead a team of professionals who are equally passionate about customer success as well as delivering high quality service and deliverables to our top-tier customers.
I chose Sisense because: It was an ambitious startup company at that time and still remains very open in terms of implementing ideas to life. I feel I’m bringing value directly to customers and this sometimes makes me very proud.
Favorite thing about Sisense: The people and the product vision. I can enjoy working with extremely smart and cooperative people and witness the evolution of Sisense on the global market.
Advice: Believe in people and they will believe in you. Be open-minded and always try to make an “extra mile”, no matter what you do.

Sisense Moonshot my career: I became part of Sisense when the company merged with Periscope Data. I was able to move up in the sales engineer ranks because we were growing so fast, and because I found success, there I was able to take a shot at product management.
I chose Sisense because: It’s a fast-growing company whose values I identify with.
Favorite thing about Sisense: The culture and the people. There are challenges, but the people here are good humans 🙂
Advice: Be open to opportunity, and don’t straight-jacket your career by trying to adhere to a job description. Growth is messy. Embrace the uncertainty and be prepared to operate outside of the boundaries of your job-title from time to time. People will remember that they can count on you and will look in your direction when they need someone they can trust.

I chose Sisense because: By a stroke of luck and good timing, Sisense chose me! I am thankful every day that I ended up at Sisense.
Favorite thing about Sisense: So many things!! But if I had to choose, the emphasis on the 5 values we live and breathe! My team! Fellow Sisensers around the world!
Advice: Be willing to learn and ask questions. Be willing to roll up your sleeves and help out, volunteer, listen to feedback, utilize the resources provided to all employees such as Bravely coaching and emerj (a mentorship program which allows you to learn from your colleagues), and build relationships with other Sisensers.

Sisense Moonshot my career: I started at Sisense as the third Solutions Engineer on the team. We started to grow very fast, and so my manager gave me a chance and invested in my growth as a Team Leader, and after that as Manager.
Now I’m leading, inspiring and helping 12 people, including Engineers from Japan and Australia, as well as improving the customer experience and making sure that we provide excellent service.
I chose Sisense because: I believe in data, and like to see how our product helps our customers achieve more.
Favorite thing about Sisense: Definitely the people, they inspire me to do more every day.
Advice: Love what you do. Nothing will stop you if you are passionate about your tasks and responsibilities. Say yes more, you never know if you’ll get the same opportunity again!

Sisense Moonshot my career: Throughout my time at Sisense, I’ve constantly been given the opportunity to learn. In the beginning, I developed as a technical specialist and acquired domain knowledge.
Then, through guidance and consistent mentorship, I grew in management as a team leader. I developed my soft skills and learned to plan and coordinate people’s work. I made some mistakes but I learned from them. Recently, I was trusted to manage more teams and responsibilities and was promoted to R&D manager. To me, this means that I am moving in the right direction, and new challenges await me!
I chose Sisense because: I remember my interview: the developer who interviewed me spoke with glowing eyes and engagement about the product. He showed what incredible functionality they were developing and I realized I also wanted to participate in it and work with people who are so passionate about their product.
Favorite thing about Sisense: I absolutely love the product, the people I work with, and the supportive and developmental atmosphere.
Advice: Just do what you like with the people you like. Invest in your development and be willing to learn constantly.

Sisense Moonshot my career: Both from a professional and personal standpoint, the Sisense <> Periscope Data merger offered incredible opportunities, responsibilities and growth for me — from bootstrapping new initiatives to leading distributed teams to managing all the challenges that come as we scale and many more.
It also enabled me to make meaningful, long-lasting friendships with many more people across the company.
I chose Sisense because: I chose Sisense for the caring people, the positive culture and the challenges that arise with a growing product that solves a real need in the analytics space.
Favorite thing about Sisense: Once again, it’s the caring people and the positive culture. When I interviewed for engineering, Sisense was not one of those typical places where folks were asked to invert trees on whiteboards. Instead, I paired with engineers to build working code together. The project was collaborative and fun. It gave me an experience of what it is like to be a part of the team and culture at the company.
Advice: Show enthusiasm, energy and curiosity. Ask a lot of questions. Asking questions to seek answers is a great way of learning. We have a culture where every engineer gets an unlimited number of remaining questions.
First Role: Commissions Analyst
Current Role: Senior Commissions Analyst
Sisense Moonshot my career: I joined Sisense in the middle of this pandemic so I knew there would be plenty of changes as we all rolled with the punches in a fast-paced environment. But what I didn’t anticipate fully was how much my management team was willing to listen to a new voice and let me display my talents to help mold the direction.
They trusted me to take ownership of my role which allowed me to ramp up quickly. The recognition of my talents by leadership led me to move up to a senior title and then also as a manager within the last year.
I chose Sisense because: I was looking for a growing company that I could grow along with that also had a great company culture where I would be more than just a number. Sisense ticked all those boxes and more.
Favorite thing about Sisense: The focus on employee engagement and professional development. It is amazing to be in a place where they pay attention to employee needs and provide support through ERGs, opportunities to talk about personal growth and more.
Advice: Remember that you are the talent and that you bring something of value to the table that is uniquely you. Go into interviews with that confidence. Don’t let imposter syndrome weigh you down from the next big opportunity.
First Role: Account Development Representative
Current Role: Account Executive
Sisense Moonshot my career: I joined Sisense in January 2020 as an ADR with no Sales or Tech experience. Sisense nurtured me and gave me the support I needed to quickly become one of the top performing ADRs by the end of 2020, which enabled me to get promoted to Senior ADR.
With this promotion, I expressed my interest in wanting to further grow within the company to become an Account Executive. Sisense supported my aspirations to become an AE and again gave me the resources to make sure I would be fully equipped to successfully move into this role. I was promoted formally to the AE position in July 2021.
I chose Sisense because: in every interview I had, it was clear that everyone interviewing me clearly loved working at Sisense. Aside from the amazing product, it was the culture of the company that really made me want to join the team.
Favorite thing about Sisense: 100% the people I get to work with every single day. Here in the Australian team, everyone has a strong work ethic, and respects each other, which means there is always a supportive and enthusiastic work environment.
Advice: Leverage the people at Sisense as much as possible. There is a wealth of knowledge in our organization, and you can learn so much just from talking to those around you.

Sisense Moonshot my career: It has given me the opportunity to take on more than just my day to day to help the organization. I have been supported by both my direct leadership and executive leadership to take risk and learn from both my successes and failures.

I chose Sisense because: When I was looking for a company to join, I had a few qualifiers I needed for a new organization. Sisense met all those qualifications for me personally and it is in the growing industry of analytics which is exciting to be a part of it. I also liked the interview process where folks were very transparent and honest about the good and the opportunities we had at Sisense.
Favorite thing about Sisense: is the team I get to work with, I am fortunate to have a team that I enjoy coming to work and supporting daily! The leaders I have been able to work with at Sisense have helped me grow professionally and continue to challenge me consistently. It is a place where I can be my authentic self and that is crucial to me, and Sisense encourages everyone to be themselves.
Advice: Own your career, it is your responsibility to seek what you want out of yourself and your employer and be patient till you find both, because it does exist.
