Partner Development Manager

 What We’re Looking For:

Sisense is seeking to hire a Partnerships Development Manager reporting to the Head of Platform Partnerships & Alliances.  This position will be dedicated to the success of Sisense’s partnerships and will be responsible for support recruiting, launching and managing partnerships with tech companies that are integrated with Sisense.  The role will include ecosystem analysis, product analysis, integration design, and program management duties. Additionally accelerate the adoption of our integrated platform, support joint sales, field enablement, and marketing activities.

 

What Will You Do:

  • Conduct research to identify new partnership opportunities with technology providers in our ecosystem (e.g. ETL/data pipeline, data catalog, ML/AI, data virtualization)
    • Build relationships with stakeholder at our partners, determine joint value prop, business model and integrated offering
    • Lead partner negotiations, agreement formulation, and launch planning
  • Work with R&D teams to provide guidance and rapidly develop integrations
    • Understand product integration use case and benefits
    • Manage integration requirements, design and troubleshoot issues
  • Identify and execute partner marketing opportunities (e.g. events, digital, collateral)
    • Manage the launch and marketing plans with new partnerships
    • Represent Sisense at industry and partner-related events
  • Identify and support joint sales opportunities
    • Deeply understand Sisense sales and customer success; deliver enablement tools, playbooks, and activities that drive sales results
    • Exceed influenced revenue goals, retention and satisfaction goals by identifying customer challenges and aligning Sisense & our partner solutions
  • Lead partner success with partners
    • Be the primary point of contact for your portfolio of partners
    • Connect regularly, understand results, and adjust partnership accordingly

 

How You’ll Ramp

  • By Day 30...
    • Spend one week in our HQ in NYC, and one week in SF
    • You’ll have learned a lot about Sisense’s values and culture, understand Sisense’s product, the partner ecosystem, and the outcomes we help customers achieve
  • By Day 60…
    • Talk with joint customers and use data to drive decisions to prioritize partners and new integrations
    • You’ll craft a strategic account penetration plan for our strategic partnerships and begin actively driving new opportunities within that partnership
  • By Day 90…
    • You’ll have built solid relationships with stakeholders at our partnerships and be fully underway executing and delivering on plans created with them
    • You’ll be an integral part of the Platform Partnerships team and essential to the success of our 2020 goals

 

What Should You Have: 

  • 5+ years of experience in partnerships, sales engineering or R&D
  • Intimate knowledge of BI / data ecosystem in EMEA
  • You've worked for a fast-growing technology company
  • Experience with deploying and integrating with SaaS / cloud software; this can be demonstrated by a track record of happy, referenceable partners and customers
  • A technical mindset that can tackle complex SQL/database/architecture problems
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Familiarity with Rest APIs, Angular, React, and Node.js
  • Experience with a technical product, comfortable bridging the gap between the product and commercial
  • Experience in global, fast-paced business, not afraid of going the extra mile for your partner or team
  • Proven track record of delivering under pressure
  • 30% travel
