Lazy Loading is a mechanism which controls when each widget will load and ultimately run its query against the data source. This improves overall dashboard performance and loads only the widgets which are being viewed at that moment by the viewer, instead of loading all widgets on the first load in bulk. This enables you to create dashboards with many widgets without performance implications, as they will load on demand as you scroll throughout the dashboard. The dashboard designer can determine whether to enable this feature on a given dashboard or not. In addition to this Dashboard Lazy Load plugin, QBeeQ also offers a ‘Load widget on demand’ plugin, which viewers can refresh on their own will and not necessarily load when being viewed.
This plugin works with other types of hidden widgets such as the Sisense widget tabber, the QBeeQ no-code simple widget tabber and the QBeeQ no-code advanced widget tabber.
